Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University is proud to present their annual Fall showcase featuring performances of original works and covers by Cornish music faculty.
The concert will feature a synthesis of Music faculty from Seattle University’s First Hill and South Lake Union campuses, a foreshadowing of the bounty of sounds that are to come when we are fully one next academic year.
The concert will feature several of our newest faculty members, including Ben Hunter and Jimmie Herrod, and I will be performing a piece with Joan Laage, one of the foremost American practitioners of the modern Japanese dance practice known as Butoh. Other performers include Tess Altiveros, Tom Baker, Jeff Bowen, Elias Chanteloup, alums John Butler and Gretta Harley, and more.
