AWS Skills Center

Build cloud technology skills with this free local resource.

Ever want to learn more about cloud technology, but don’t know where to start? South Lake Union is home to an AWS Skills Center at 1915 Terry Avenue in the Kumo building of the Amazon Seattle campus. The center provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about cloud technology and is designed for people who have little to no technology background. Best of all? It’s free.

Seattle community members can visit the center to explore fun, interactive exhibits showcasing real-world use cases of the cloud, but the center is much more than an exhibit space. If you want to dive deeper, The AWS Skills center offers free classroom training to build cloud computing skills that can help you build the tools you need to discover future career possibilities.

You can choose from a host of classroom training offerings, ranging from Computer Foundation series to Generative AI, cloud careers, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner prep course, and more.
