New Works Festival is an annual event produced by the Theater Department at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University.
Part 2 of the festival features The Lore Project, an original one act play from an Acting & Original Works student, and the Musical Theater Showcase.
The Lore Project includes performances from Acting: Devising in Collaboration I students, facilitated by Rhonda J. Soikowski. The project gives Theater students the ability to research and explore folklore from around the globe and devise an original performance inspired from their research. The Musical Theater Showcase features solo and group performance, with advisement from Richard Gray.
The showcase takes place at the historic Skinner Theater at Raisbeck Performance Hall from April 30 – May 2, 2026.
