Gear up in South Lake Union

For what seems like ages, Seattle has been buzzing with anticipation for its own hockey team. The recent reveal of the team name and logo raised that fervor and now excited fans finally have a place to grab their favorite Seattle Kraken gear. The team’s flagship store recently opened its doors at 901 Fairview at Chandler’s Cove on Lake Union.

More than 2,000 eager fans signed up for appointment shopping on its first weekend. Hockey diehards started lining up well before the store’s 9am opening time. The flagship store boasts the largest assortment of official Seattle Kraken merchandise in the city. Fans can find buy t-shirts, sweatshirts, soft-shell jackets, golf shirts, hats, backpacks, and more. And if you’re feeling hungry while waiting, the store has a rotating lineup of food trucks on site daily.

The Seattle Kraken flagship store is following stringent safety precautions to protect its customers and employees from COVID-19, including touchless temperature check stations, nightly electrostatic spray disinfectant, limited store occupancy, and more. Most notably, the store offers appointment shopping in 20-minute increments with a two-guest limit. The Seattle Kraken flagship store is now accepting walk-in shopping, too, but consider booking an appointment to allow for proper social distancing and avoid wait times.

The Seattle Kraken flagship store is open from 10am to 6pm every day except Monday.
