We are big fans of the versatility of composed salads because of their eye appeal, textural complexity and eating satisfaction.

Every cook should master the basic Salad Nicoise and then begin to expand, substitute, and customize their own version.

In this class Chef Kelty Clark-Mahoney will cover the basic skills of cutting, blanching, poaching and making a well emulsified dressing.

And then you will enjoy a beautiful lunch.

Safety: In compliance with state and federal directive, it is our policy to verify vaccination status for all events at Hot Stove Society. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry for everyone over 12 years of age. We require that you bring a mask to wear when you are moving about in our kitchen and may remove it when eating. Our staff is fully vaccinated and will wear masks except when presenting on the demonstration stage. Effective 10/04/2021.

Refund Policy:  Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.

Please let us know about any allergens or dietary restrictions ahead of time to best accommodate you. Note that some classes require specific ingredients in the recipes and may not be offered any substituions.
