Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Film Festival

Created in collaboration with the Seattle International Film Festival, SFFSFF returns on April 18 and 19 with two days of visionary short films that bend genres, challenge expectations, and transport audiences to new worlds.

Showcasing animated and live-action shorts from daring filmmakers around the globe, SFFSFF celebrates the creative freedom of short-form storytelling. Previous selections have transcended the screen, earning international distribution, Academy Award nominations, museum exhibitions, and more. Across multiple screening blocks, filmmaker Q&As, and an audience- and juror-selected awards ceremony, SFFSFF offers a front-row seat to the future of science fiction and fantasy cinema.
