Winston Wächter Fine Art is pleased to announce our West Gallery spring group exhibition, Coloring The Surface, featuring works by Marcel Rozek, David Benjamin Sherry, Tatyana Murray, and Alva Gallagher.
Across four different mediums, these artists explore grand gestures of color and highlight the visceral texture of their chosen materials. The stark contrast between Rozek’s soft-edged paintings and Benjamin Sherry’s crystalline photographs of the American West illuminates the wide-ranging function of vibrant, enveloping color in contemporary art. Murray’s etched glass light boxes and Gallagher’s cast resin sculptures both engage with translucence and jagged texture, drawing upon natural forms to convey a sense of meditative calm.
