Seattle Restaurant Week in SLU

These neighborhood spots are offering up epic deals.

Seattle Restaurant Week is back with special prix-fixe menus at some of South Lake Union favorite restaurants. The event, part of the Good Business Network of Washington’s Good Food Economy program, connects the Puget Sound food community to build a more sustainable and just local food system. These deals are on offer through November 8, so don’t miss your chance at creative dishes that celebrate local ingredients and support a thriving regional economy.

Daniel’s Broiler

Menu Hours: Daily, 3–9pm
Price: $65 (dinner)

What You Get:
Starter (choice of Caesar salad, clam chowder, or artichoke hearts); entrée (choice of king salmon, 6-ounce filet mignon, or pan-roasted garlic chicken, all served with seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes); dessert (choice of Olympic Mountain ice cream or sorbet, vanilla bean crème brûlée, or New York-style cheesecake).
Notes: 20% service charge included.

FareStart Restaurant

Menu Hours: 11am–2pm
Price: $20 (lunch)

What You Get:
Main (peanut butter jelly smash burger); side (choice of side salad, tomato soup, or daily rotating soup); drink (12-ounce custom-crafted beverage, soda, or San Pellegrino).
Notes: SRW meal can be ordered in advance for dine-in or takeout.

Gyo Gyo En

Menu Hours: 4:30–9:30pm
Price: $35 or $50

What You Get:
SRW Fisherman’s Bento ($35): Signature salmon chowder with three kinds of chef’s-choice sashimi, salmon flake rice with umami soy, crab salad, inari, salmon poke, and shibazuke.
SRW Fisherman’s Bowl ($50): Special seasoned rice topped with the chef’s selection of seven assorted sashimi, bluefin tuna, uni, furikake, shredded nori, egg crepes, salmon flakes, inari, tobiko, and more.

I Love Sushi on Lake Union

Menu Hours: Monday–Thursday, 11:30am–2pm / 5–8pm; Friday, 11:30am–2pm / 5–9pm; Saturday, 5–9pm
Price: $38 (lunch only); $74 or $80 (lunch or dinner)

What You Get:
Shokado Premium Bento ($38): Sashimi with yuzu miso vinaigrette, grilled salmon teriyaki with spinach gomae, fried edamame, shrimp and shiitake mushroom tempura, o-sushi, five-piece nigiri, and miso soup.
Dream of Chirashi ($74): Nine tastings of premium fish over individual bowls of rice served in a Shokado premium bento box, with miso soup.
Chef’s Omakase ($80): Chef’s selection of 10 premium nigiri, crispy tempura matsutake mushrooms, and grilled black cod, served with miso soup.

La Palmera

Menu Hours: Saturday and Sunday only, 10am–2pm
Price: $20

What You Get:
Drink (café de olla, mimosa, or Bloody Mary); entrée (choice of Veracruzana enfrijoladas, chilaquiles skillet, or chilaquiles burrito).
Notes: Available for weekend brunch only.

Noodle/Bar

Choice of one small plate (cucumbers, strange-flavor cauliflower, or Chinese greens) and one noodle bowl (cold buckwheat noodles, sesame noodles, dan dan mian, Yibin burning noodles, combo broth noodles, beef meatball noodles, house egg noodles, buckwheat noodles, or Wanza man) or a rice bowl (garlic chili chicken or braised tofu and mushroom).

Thomas Street Warehouse

Menu hours: Daily, 11am–5pm / 5pm–2am
Price: $20 (lunch); $35 (dinner)

What You Get:
$20 Lunch:
Choice of Works 2.0 burger, Texas BBQ burger, mushroom melt, beef dip au jus, spicy chicken burger, Cajun chicken cheddar sandwich, veggie burger, or Warehouse mac & cheese; dessert (mini carnival donuts).
$35 Dinner:
Appetizer (choice of creamy spinach and artichoke dip or crispy wings); entrée (same choices as lunch); dessert (choice of mini carnival donuts or chocolate cookie dough brownie). All sandwiches include fries or green salad (Caesar salad available for $3).

Tutta Bella

Menu hours: Daily, 11am–10pm

Personal salad (choice of Caesar or Mista); pizza or pasta (any from the menu); dessert (choice of cannoli, chocolate almond torte, warm caramel cake, or scoop of gelato); beverage (choice of glass of house wine, draft beer, or fountain soda).

The White Swan Public House

Menu Hours: Monday–Friday, 3–10pm; Saturday, 10am–10pm; Sunday, 10am–8pm

What You Get:
$35 Menu:
First course: Choice of hushpuppies, mixed green salad, or jumbo chicken wings.
Second course: Choice of braised pork tacos, crispy lingcod sandwich, or trenne pasta.
