FareStart Gala Auction and Dinner

The nonprofit’s banner fundraising event is packed with all-star chefs and a mind-boggling auction, all for a great cause.

Brady Williams of Tomo. Rachel Yang of Revel, Joule, and Paper Cake Shop. Jose Chaves of the Seattle Convention Center. And Rachael Coyle of Coyle’s Bake Shop. With the help of FareStart students, these Seattle chefs will be serving up a world-class meal at FareStart’s 31st annual Auction and Gala on Sunday, October 29, at Skybridge at the Seattle Convention Center.

Guests will enjoy this incredible meal while getting an inside look at FareStart’s mission. The Seattle institution is known for transforming lives, disrupting poverty, and nourishing communities through food, life skills, and job training.

Whether or not you plan to attend the gala, make sure you check out the online auction. At posting, the site features 70+ auction packages, ranging from food experiences to trips, entertainment, and much more.

Highlights include:

*Sea to Sky: Costa Rica — a seven-night coffee and adventure trip to Costa Rica, including first class airfare, accommodations, a visit to Starbucks Hacienda Alsace Coffee Farm, and more.

*Exploring Portugal — a seven-night trip to Portugal, including first class airfare, ground transportation, luxury accommodations, private wine and walking tours, daily breakfast, and more.

*Japan Meets Italy Dinner — two tickets to a private dinner at Lark featuring chefs John Sundstrom, J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, Holly Smith, Taichi Kitamura, and wines from The Orcas Project.

*LA Sportsextravaganza — two first class tickets from Seattle to LA, plus two tickets to the Seattle Kraken vs. the L.A. Kings and two curtsied tickets to the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers.

*Ultimate Olivia Rodrigo Concert Experience — 18 Tunnel Club Suite tickets at Climate Pledge Arena for Olivia Rodrigo, private ground transportation, a dedicated suite, and food and beverages.

Click here to preview all the available online auction packages. The auction opens on October 23 and runs through the start of the gala on October 29. Tickets to the gala are $400 per person, or $4,000 for a table of 10. The event is black tie option and 21+.
