Fall for SLU 2023

October brings autumnal events to the neighborhood.

This October, you can find plenty of fall-inspired events throughout the South Lake Union.

Kicking off the month, Nitro Plaza becomes an Instagrammer’s paradise with its vintage truck display, adorned with pumpkins and quintessential autumn decorations. From October 1­­‑31, make sure to stop by and capture some memorable snapshots amid the beautiful fall decor.

Get ready for a Fall Harvest Celebration from October 13-15 at Nitro Plaza, where autumn takes center stage. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., participants will enjoy a weekend filled with pumpkin-flavored treats, lively music, photo opportunities, and a u-pick pumpkin patch while supplies last. This event is open to everyone and free of charge.

Craft enthusiasts will not want to miss Pumpkins on the Playfield on October 25. In partnership with Urban Craft Uprising, enjoy a pumpkin crafting experience at Day 1 Playfield. Swing by anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to choose a pumpkin and adorn it with your creative designs. All materials are provided and no registration is required.

Lastly, the SLU Halloween Festivities on October 31 provide a day filled with gentle spooks and charming Halloween-themed photo ops at various favorite spots around the neighborhood. Available throughout the day, these festive backdrops are sure to elevate your Halloween celebrations.
