Fall Flavors Return To SLU

Get your tickets now for Cider Summit Seattle.

The 12th annual Cider Summit Seattle is returning to Lake Union Park in South Lake Union on September 8 and 9, promising a smorgasbord of delicious ciders, meads, and artisanal eats that celebrate the rich tapestry of flavors the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Presented by Teku Tavern + Café, the festival showcases more than 150 varieties from over 50 cideries, including Pacific Northwest favorites and international classics.

Festival co-founder and producer, Alan Shapiro, couldn’t be more excited about this year’s event. “Each year we look forward to bringing new ciders and flavors of the Pacific Northwest for our attendees to savor,” he says.

Nearly half of the beverages on offer haven’t previously been poured at the Summit. Many of the cidermakers themselves will be present, guiding guests through an immersive tasting experience.

Michelle McGrath, CEO of the American Cider Association, perfectly explains the vibe: “A crisp cider paired with artisan foods and a view of Lake Union makes for the perfect September day.”

More than cider

Food vendors like Seattle Monster Dogs and Frelard Tamales will be there to keep you fueled. Don’t forget to vote in the Oregon Fruit Products Fruit Cider Challenge and explore the Cider Cocktail Lounge for a wider spectrum of fruit spirits and pommeau.

Dog lovers, take note! A Dog Lounge, hosted by Just Food for Dogs and benefiting the Seattle Humane Society, will offer shade, water, and treats for your four-legged companions.

Exclusive tasting pairings

For an elevated experience, consider the Saturday Pre-Opening Cider-Cheese-Charcuterie tasting. For an additional $35, you get access to a hosted tasting featuring four curated pairings and a special surprise! Please note that you must also purchase a festival VIP or General Admission ticket to add this on. Space is extremely limited, so jump on this opportunity as soon as possible.
