Gather to worship and fellowship; Grow in the knowledge and love of Christ; Go…serve, love, and impact the world.

Denny Park Lutheran Church was founded in Seattle in 1888 by folks primarily of Norwegian heritage, and the present church was built in 1939. However, we’ve changed! A lot of time has passed since then, and although the congregation has transitioned through many iterations, including years in the American Lutheran Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and different locations in downtown Seattle, we are right where we’ve been for many years now, just across the street from Seattle’s first park, Denny Park. Our current congregation of is the result of a merger in the summer of 2013 with Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. We now associate with a national denomination called Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), and we strive to live out our mission.
