In July of 1989, 40 canoes from 17 tribes participated in the first Paddle to Seattle, established by Quinault Indian Nation member Emmett Oliver.
35 years later, the cultural revitalization and impact of Canoe Journey grows stronger still. Join Marylin Oliver-Bard, Native Community Speaker and daughter of Emmett Oliver, for on-board talks exploring the history and continued impact of Canoe Journey.

Consider ordering a dinner box from Gourmondo to take aboard the Virginia V! Look for detailed instructions for ordering and picking up dinner boxes when registering for your trip. Instructions will also be included in your ticket confirmation email.
Please board by 6:55pm to ensure a prompt departure. There will be no late boarding.
