Join Black Men Run and your local running community for a morning of movement, remembrance, and unity as we honor the life of Ahmaud Arbery.
Six years ago, Ahmaud, a Black man out for a jog in his Georgia neighborhood—was murdered. In the years since, his memory has become a powerful call to come together. Each February, Black Men Run hosts memorial runs across the country, uniting thousands of runners and walkers in a shared act of visibility, care, and collective purpose. Across cities and communities, we move together, connected by the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported in the outdoors. REI is proud to stand alongside Black Men Run in this national moment of unity, reaffirming our shared commitment to community, safety, and looking out for one another. The group run will be 2–3 miles, followed by refreshments, conversation, and time to connect. Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome. Come as you are, and be part of something bigger.
