The 2022 season of Plant Camp kicks off on June 15!
Plant Camp is a place to spark creativity by combining art and nature into a fun 30-minute activity. Every other Wednesday, South Lake Union partners with Urban Craft Uprising and the Amazon Horticulture Team to find the intersection of these two mediums, which have positive impacts on your mental health, like increasing productivity and decreasing mental fatigue.
The 2022 season features eight bi-weekly events where participants will create takeaways such as a terraria, herb gardens, and more. In the first event, participants will create open terraria. Learn from the Amazon Horticulture Team how to care for plants that share the same home, why some plants need their own space, and the proper way to curate a terrarium so each plant has a chance to thrive.
All are welcome! Walk up spots are available every half hour beginning at 10 AM.
