Participants can choose from a wide range of seed types to craft a seed bomb, either with a single variety or a blend of wildflowers. Seed bombs are small, clay-covered ball containing seeds and compost, used to plant flowers or other plants in areas where traditional planting methods are difficult or impractical. What is Made in SLU?

Made in SLU is a crafting series held twice a month from May 28th to October 29th, in collaboration with South Lake Union Bouquet. These unique events are free and open to everyone, offering a fantastic opportunity to unleash your creativity and take home your handmade creations each time.

How Do I Join In?

Each event will be held at Nitro Plaza from 3 pm to 6 pm. This is a walk-up event, operating on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited space. To sign up for Made in SLU, simply scan the QR code on the “Check In” signage at the event—no pre-registration required.

Given the popularity of this event, wait times can vary, so please be patient as we work to accommodate everyone. Each craft can be completed in about 30 minutes or less, making it a perfect choice for a quick mid-day break.
