Join Living Voices for a special Free First Thursday performance. Showtimes at 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
What does it take to demand justice? The Right to Dream follows the coming-of-age of Ruby, a young Black activist in the segregated South during the 1960s. As she joins the fight for voting rights and equality through the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), the performance brings to life the courage, resistance, and hope of the Civil Rights Movement. Through live performance and powerful archival footage, this multimedia show is a timely, age-appropriate experience for schools and communities of all kinds.
This event takes place during our Free First Thursday hours. Seats are first come first served.
Living Voices combines live theatrical performances with archival film, turning history into a moving personal journey. This performance will take place in the Joshua Green Foundation Theater on MOHAI’s second floor.
