Implied Fictions contributing artist Marsha Burns will lead an informal walkthrough of A Closer Look.
Marsha Burns is a painter turned photographer, “drawn to the boundaries, to people whose existence is self-defined.” Burns is represented locally at Prographica. She studied at the University of Washington and the University of Massachusetts. She has received two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. Her photographs are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Seattle Art Museum, the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona, and the Stedelijk Museum, among others.
