Restaurants in the South Lake Union and Denny Triangle neighborhoods are raising awareness and funds to support and celebrate the inclusive spirit of the Special Olympics USA Games Friday, June 22 – Friday, July 6. The Special Olympics USA Games are pleased to announce that if you purchase the featured dish from each participating restaurant, the restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds directly to the Special Olympics USA Games.

Amazon is pleased to be a sponsor of the Closing Ceremony of the USA Games. In addition to their support of the Closing Ceremony (which will be held on Friday, July 6 at Lake Union Park, and additional events and activations throughout the week), they are excited to partner with the SLU Chamber, SLU Community Council, and the Denny Triangle Neighborhood Association to launch this exciting campaign called “Choose to Include that showcases the delicious restaurants in the South Lake Union and Denny Triangle neighborhoods.

Participating restaurants will designate and feature a dish from their restaurants or create a special dish that celebrates the spirit of the Special Olympics. In addition to delicious food, the neighborhoods will also feature local artwork perfect for selfies and group pictures to continue to celebrate the spirit of inclusion.
