Raise your cup, drink to a cause!
Chai for Cancer is an awareness and fundraising initiative of The Max Foundation (Max), aimed at supporting patients who are coping with cancers that require lifelong treatment and care.
We invite the Seattle community to join us in networking, community-building, a short presentation from our Region Head of South Asia, Viji Venkatesh, and VP of Program Operations, Michael Wrigglesworth, and of course, lots of complimentary chai! Now in its 10th year, Chai for Cancer was originally started in India by Viji, who has been with Max for over 20 years, and recently made her acting debut in the Bollywood film “Pachuvum Athbuthavilakkum.”
Donations are at your discretion. Funds raised will support a wide range of activities including patient support groups, travel costs incurred by patients for hospital visits, monitoring tests, and more.
