After WWII the American ready-to-wear industry boomed, churning out everything from the couture-like artistry of Norman Norrell, to the affordable simplicity of Claire McCardell, to the casual practicality of local companies like Foster-Hochberg. These intimate one-hour session, led by MOHAI’s Costume and Textile Specialist, allow viewers to discover garments in detail and hear the stories that make them special.
