Arte & Vino at Caffe Torino – March 2017

For the month of March and April, we are proud to display “The Vino series” by local artist Gray Purdy.

Gray displays some of his pieces in a window storefront at 518 Yale, but has agreed to showcase a larger body of work at the cafe.

Gray approaches every work as an adventure, every day as a chance
to learn, which accounts for his constantly evolving style. He paints
in traditional oil on canvas with an impressionistic bent, in normal
sizes as well as large formats, such as 5 x 6 feet and greater. His
current offering, the Vino Series*, revolves around his love of the
countryside, of wine and vineyards in painting scenes of Italy, Napa and his imagination.
