There’s lifesaving power in all of us.
Our nation is in “trauma season,” a period between Memorial Day and Labor Day, often referred to as the 100 Deadliest Days. Each summer, the number of traffic accidents, outdoor injuries, and traumatic incidents rises significantly, while the blood supply decreases with many regular donors on vacation or out of their regular routines. Additionally, high schools are not hosting drives in summer. Bloodworks has issued an urgent call for blood donors to help ensure a plentiful blood supply this summer season.
Please sign up for the 2-day blood drive at Amazon Brazil Building (SEA53) on either Thurs July 24 or Fri July 25 . The drive will be on the 2nd floor (02.201 and 02.202) at 400 9th Ave N.
Please hydrate well and eat prior to giving blood and bring photo ID! For more information on donor incentives, eligibility and more, please visit www.BloodworksNW.org
