The holidays are shaping up to look a little different this year. COVID-19 continues to disrupt our day-to-day lives. At the same time, new restrictions are presenting big challenges to local restaurants that rely on the ability to host diners indoors.
Since many traditional Thanksgivings are not viable this year, think about turning to a local restaurant for a unique take on a festive, socially distanced fall meal. A number of SLU favorites are offering Thanksgiving specials this year, but you could also support more restaurants by building your own meal. Consider ordering a mix of menu items from these popular neighborhood spots to create this year’s meal. This is a fun way to support SLU restaurants while accommodating small, close family dinners. Just remember that most, if not all of these restaurants, will be closed for Thanksgiving, so you’ll need to order items ahead and reheat for your special meal.
