Pop-Up Brunch (and Lunch, Too!)

It’s been five years since the South Lake Union Saturday Market established itself as a neighborhood weekend tradition. The market attracted more than 150,000 people in 2018, and this year it’s growing in a number of new ways.

The folks behind the Saturday market have introduced a lunch affair on Wednesdays. The SLU Wednesday Lunch Market will hold court near MOHAI at Lake Union Park every week at 11am through September 25. The market features more than 25 local vendors, lawn games, a DJ, and much more. Check the schedule on Facebook and head down to the lake for a scenic lunch break.

The SLU Saturday Market will again make a number of night moves this summer, and each evening event will have a specific culinary theme. Plus, each night market happening this year will include a free Seattle Outdoor Cinema viewing. Here is the schedule, theme, and movie lineup:

August 17, Aloha; The Life Aquatic
