Date Planner

Celebrate your affections with these fun SLU rendezvous.

You might be hard-pressed to find a Valentine’s Day reservation just days before the Hallmark holiday. But that’s okay because any day is a perfect day for a date. Whether you’ve been together for 50 years or you’re looking to take your meet-cute to the next level, SLU has plenty of date options.

Mimosas (on a boat)

Soundview Cruises offers a number of Lake Union tours leaving from Pocock Rowing Center near MOHAI, including a 2-hour mimosa cruise. For $150 per couple, you can enjoy a narrated tour of Lake Union’s best sights, including Gasworks Park, the Space Needle, seaplane landings and takeoffs, and more.

Tee time and Tacos

Flatstick Pub has leveled up SLU’s activity date options. Miniature golf is a fantastic way to get to know someone through friendly competition. Play nine holes that feature elevation changes, moving kegs, and a 12-foot Sasquatch. Or try your hand at Duffleboard, Flatstick’s cross between mini golf and shuffleboard. Plus, 30-plus taps of local beer, wine, and cider are readily available.

After your rounds of mini golf and drinks, head a few blocks north to Tacos Chukis for some baby burritos, mulitas, or one of the best tacos in Seattle (its signature includes adobada pork, big juicy chunks of grilled pineapple, melted cheese, and guacamole).

Spaah Day

Banya 5 has a few couple’s specials for Valentine’s Day weekend: a 50- or 80-minute service for two, plus Banya 5 entry, robe rentals, and gratuity. Using traditions of Turkish hammams, Russian banyas, Finnish saunas, and Japanese bath houses, Banya 5 is a shift from your typical spa experiences. Services include massage, body treatments, and facials, but the real treats are usage of Banya 5’s bath facilities.
