This month, Manager of Public Engagement Robert Rutherford is joined by guest Kelly Sue DeConnick, writer of some of the most exciting titles in modern comics, including the Carol Danvers rebranding as Captain Marvel, the Eisner-nominated Pretty Deadly, and Bitch Planet. Kelly Sue chose this month’s selection, Tremors, a loving nod to the creature features that dominated cinema projectors in the 1950s and a fantastic touchstone in Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon games.

    • Cocktail pairing — What to do with graboids once they’ve been vanquished? Here’s a recipe for a Grey Gusano to make the most of all of those worms!
    • Mocktail pairing — Get your feet up off the floor with a virgin margarita.
    • Beer pairing — Grab a can of Coors Banquet and tip back your hat, naturally.
  • Chat with the host and guest and other fans during the film.
