For those of us who love to bake, the Thanksgiving holiday is the perfect excuse for getting out the rolling pins, pie pans, and tart pans and getting to work filling the kitchen with the fragrance of spices, butter, and fruit!

If you think your pie and tart baking skills could use a refresh, or if you’re looking for a way to ease into the baking mode, here’s an opportunity to learn from Chef Bridget Charters!

Bridget will show you how to make both pie dough and tart dough and how to shape doughs, and fill and bake pies and tarts. She’ll demo her favorite pumpkin pie with the secret ingredient of roasted butternut squash, as well as a classic double crusted apple pie, plus a lovely streusel option for topping.  She’ll show you how to make pastry cut-outs to beautifully decorate your pies, and she’ll share her pro tips for pie and tart making.

Safety: In compliance with state and federal directive, it is our policy to verify vaccination status for all events at Hot Stove Society. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry for everyone over 12 years of age. We require that you bring a mask to wear when you are moving about in our kitchen and may remove it when eating. Our staff is fully vaccinated and will wear masks except when presenting on the demonstration stage. Effective 10/04/2021.

Refund Policy:  Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
