Cheryl will take us back to 1993 when Jurassic Park was released and we all had a good laugh (and a good scare) about technology run amok. It turns out the unintended consequences of raptor reincarnation may be the perfect metaphor for some of the gigantic disasters technology is now unleashing on the world. She’ll cover some of the more notable mishaps and, more importantly, what we as designers must do to make sure our work doesn’t come burdened with any unintended evils.
