In celebration of Washington State Hip Hop History Month, MoPOP’s POP+ is exploring womxn in hip hop, presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union.

Through a month of programs, performances, artifacts, and panel discussions, discover how — despite being marginalized, underpaid, underrepresented, and underrated in hip hop music and culture for decades — womxn have always been integral to the art form and the culture. MoPOP will be displaying artifacts from our hip hop collections, as well as hosting digital events for hip hop lovers of every age.
