French Vietnamese dinner plate with meat and vegetables.

Franco-Vietnamese relations started as early as the 17th century, with the arrival of Catholic missionaries in Vietnam.  France would eventually colonize Vietnam and Cambodia, forming the Indochinese Union in 1887, which would solidify French influence in Vietnam for the next 70 years.  Chefs Annie Elmore and Bridget Charters are in the kitchen teaching some of these modern Vietnamese takes on classic French dishes.

This menu promises to be easy to learn and delicious to eat.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Vietnamese Style Coffee Frappuccino with Coconut Tuiles
  • Banh Pate So – Meat filled Pastries
  • Bo Luc Lac – Vietnamese Shaken Beef with Nuoc Cham and Jasmine Rice
  • Flan in the French Style with Fresh Mango
