Denny Substation Community Celebration

The Denny Substation, City Light’s first in 30 years, is not your typical substation. Not only will it help power Seattle and support economic growth, it will provide engaging public spaces for you and your neighbors to enjoy. The substation includes outdoor open plazas, indoor community spaces, an off-leash area, elevated walkway and inspirational public art.

Without community involvement and the great work of Seattle employees, this substation would not be what many are calling “the world’s coolest.”
