Bloodworks is still trying to make up blood collection losses from the 2nd half of December, when icy roads conditions and snow caused many donors to cancel their blood donation appointments.

Supplies dropped to such low levels, Bloodworks was forced to issue a CODE RED alert through local media channels including KOMO 4 news.  Blood supplies have improved but are still below levels needed to maintain an adequate blood supply for patients in our community. There are still many open appointment slots available for our upcoming pop-up blood donation event March 23, & 24, in the Amazon Van Vorst building (426 Terry Ave N, in South Lake Union).

Please consider booking an appointment to help restore blood supplies.

Appointments and masks are required.  For more information on eligibility, monthly donor incentives and more, please visit www.bloodworksnw.org
