Implied Fictions contributing artist Tariqa Waters will lead an informal walkthrough of A Closer Look.
Tariqa Waters is a contemporary visual artist, gallerist, and arts educator who recently presented a solo exhibition, 100% Kanekalon: The Untold Story of the Marginalized Matriarch at the Northwest African American Museum. In 2012 Waters established Martyr Sauce, an alternative gallery in Pioneer Square “as a platform for generating press and attention for marginalized perspectives.”
