ABOUT BUMBERSHOOT
Bumbershoot recognizes the great diversity held within our creativity community and serves to amplify and honor the artists that call the Pacific Northwest home. We’re celebrating what it means to be an ARTIST.
Artists shift perspectives, awaken curiosity and, in our shared passion for visual arts, performance, and music, help us realize we are all under the same umbrella. Together we make Bumbershoot happen.

ABOUT DAY OF SERVICE
The event is an invitation to every Seattle neighbor to roll up your sleeves, come together, and give back, with volunteer opportunities in each neighborhood across the city. Joining together a diverse group of public, private, and non-profit partners and organizations, we will provide a wide array of service opportunities including cleaning and beautification, gardening and restoration, helping neighbors in need, and more.

Registration is now open for over 3,000 volunteer shifts at over 110 events throughout Seattle. Almost half of the events are open to all ages and over one third are open to all abilities.
