Backside of a man's shirt with Seattle Space Needles all over it.

Sixty years ago, Seattle hosted an extraordinary, futuristic-themed World’s Fair.

Clothing was an important part of the fair’s story: including space-age uniforms for staff, wearable souvenirs with enchanting illustrations of the fairgrounds, and a live fashion show of contemporary designs sponsored by Vogue.

Join Curator of Collections, Clara Berg, for an intimate in-person, one-hour session to view highlights from MOHAI’s extensive collection of garments from the 1962 World’s Fair.

Generous program support provided by ArtsFund and Guendolen Carkeek Plestcheeff Fund for the Decorative and Design Arts.

ASL Interpretation and CART is available during the program through generous support of the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

Location: MOHAI

Cost: $10 MOHAI Members | $30 General Public (includes museum admission)
