Join the Seattle Kraken from Lake Union as we draft our inaugural season roster!
After a years-long journey to bring hockey back to Seattle, a penultimate milestone for the Seattle Kraken is here—2021 NHL Expansion Draft presented by Upper Deck! In celebration, we’ve put together an amazing show that showcases the beauty of our region that will be backdropped by the breathtaking sights at Gas Works Park. This incredible night will also be broadcast live on ESPN2, casting a spotlight on Seattle, showing the world that the city is back and ready for hockey on a national stage.
The team will be building its inaugural roster live in front of fans across the city who will be invited to be an active part of this historic day. The celebration expands beyond the park and into the waters of Lake Union as we invite those on boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and all other water sport enthusiasts to catch the show from the water. Throughout the event, there will be special celebrity guests, food and beverage vendors, giveaways, and more.
