Get ready for some amazing art for our bi-monthly show: September and October will feature two very talented young artists:
"Artstronomy" by Jess Bruels is a collection of drawings that will take your breath away. This series is created entirely by hand with a compass, ruler, and technical ink pens. As there are no computers involved and the work defies modern printing capabilities, each piece is an original."
The other artist is Adream de Valdivia, presenting his collection of paintings focusing around dia de los muertos iconography and local celebrities like Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix in a totally different light.
Our beloved Regina Chambers will be available for private tarot readings.

I LOVE Whole Foods Market. I am there three times a day (I know, a bit much!). But what many people don't realize is not only do they have the best ingredients, but they have amazing talent in their kitchen staff who often don't get to show off. They sure will show off at our dinner August 28th at The VUDE!

I also LOVE southern cuisine. So we are taking the best ingredients in the Pacific Northwest and making some truly yummy southern vittles.

And of course we are pairing all this with Hand of God wines (bless your heart!) and other local libations, too.

8 courses, suggested pricing of $115, all inclusive.

Bartell Drugs welcomes donations of school supplies for its 11th annual “School Tools for Kids in Need,” August 10 through August 30 at Bartell’s 63 locations. The drive supports students in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties through World Vision’s Teacher Resource Center in Fife.

With the new school year approaching, donated school supplies help re-stock the Teacher Resource Center where teachers “shop” free of charge for school supplies to assist qualifying students.

According to Federal Way-based World Vision, a globally-known charitable organization, as many as 58,000 local students could begin the school year without the basic school supplies.
